BOTT (Bachelor in Operation Theater Technologist)

  • Duration : 3 Years Theory + 6 Month Practical

  • Eligibility :Candidate must pass 10+2 with (PCB/PCM) from a recognised board, usually with minimum 50% marks.
  • Important Subjects:
    1. Basic Medical Subjects = Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology
    2. Specialised OT Subjects= Operation Theater Technology, Surgical Procedure, Anesthesia Technology, Sterlization Technology, Pharmacology, Medical ethics.

  • BOTT is a 3 year program that trains the students to assist surgeons during operations and it also assist anesthesiologist to deliver the anesthesia to the patients. It includes both theoretical study and posting in hospital for practical experience. It also provides the knowledge of sterlization, manage operation theater and equipment, drugs, patient care before and after surgery.
  • The course prepares graduates for technologist roles for operation theaters a Healthcare facilities.

  • BMLT is a 3 year UG paramedical course focused on laboratory diagnosis, medical testing, disease detection and clinical research.
  • This course trains students to perform laboratory investigation on blood, urine, body fluids, tissues and other biological sample to help doctors ,diagnose, monitor and treat disease.

    2. Radiology Subject = Radiology Techniques, Radiation Physics, Imaging Technology, CT& MRI Technology, Ultrasound Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Protection.
    • It is a 3 years UG program (Including internship) focused on medical imaging and diagnostic radiology. The course trains students to operate advanced imaging equipments used in hospitals a diagnostic centers for detecting diseases and injuries inside the human body.
